The Brass / Gilt Cantle retains a high percentage of its original finish. The upper front of the Cantle is decorated with thistle motifs in high relief with oval Regimental badge baring the Kings Crown .The lower Cantle has the Regimental Battle Honours ; Peninsula, Egypt & Waterloo. The rear of the Cantle is stamped with the makers details.
The horse hair is free flowing upon which are sixgold wire bullion tassels with original knot work adjoining.
The red Moroccan Purse with pocket and fixing stud are in excellent condition and endorsed with the makers / retailer for Wn Andeson& Son Ltd
